Short version: TrendsFlare is a content distribution tool that runs on your own device. Your data stays on your computer. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information with any third party.
1. Who We Are
TrendsFlare ("we," "us," or "our") is a social media content distribution platform accessible at trendsflare.site. The platform enables users to manage and publish content to social media platforms through those platforms' official APIs.

2. What Information We Handle
TrendsFlare handles only the information required to provide its core functionality:
- OAuth Access Tokens: When you connect a social media account (e.g. TikTok), the platform issues an authorization token. This token is stored locally on your device. Your password is never sent to us — connecting happens on TikTok's own official login page.
- Refresh Tokens: Used automatically to obtain new access tokens when yours expire, so you don't need to log in repeatedly. Stored locally on your device.
- Optional Login Notes: You may choose to save notes for your own reference (such as which email address belongs to which account). These are stored only on your own device and are never transmitted anywhere.
- Account Metadata: Display names, usernames, and follower counts fetched from the social platform's API and saved locally for display purposes.
- Post Data: Post content (photo carousels and videos), captions, hashtags, scheduling times, and upload status — saved locally so you can track your content.
- AI-Generated Suggestions: If you use the AI caption/hashtag feature, the context you provide is sent to the DeepSeek AI API to generate suggestions. No personally identifiable information is included.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
All data — accounts, tokens, posts, and history — is stored in local files inside the installation folder on your own computer. This data is never uploaded to any server we operate.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
TrendsFlare communicates with the following external services on your behalf:
- TikTok API (open.tiktokapis.com): Used to upload videos, publish posts, and retrieve account information. Your use of TikTok through this tool is governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.
- DeepSeek AI API (api.deepseek.com): Used only if you click "Generate Caption" or "Generate Hashtags." Governed by DeepSeek's Privacy Policy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising networks, or any other tracking services.
5. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your TikTok password — connecting an account happens on TikTok's own login page, never through us
- Browsing history or usage analytics
- IP address or location data
- Device identifiers
- Cookies (the tool runs locally, not as a hosted web service)
6. How We Protect Your Data
Because TrendsFlare runs entirely on your own device, your data is protected by your computer's own security: it is only accessible to your user account, and it never travels to any server we operate. Tokens are only ever sent directly to the platform that issued them (e.g. TikTok's API) over encrypted HTTPS connections. We recommend using your operating system's login protection and disk encryption for additional safety.
7. Token Expiry and Refresh
Access tokens issued by TikTok expire after approximately 24 hours. TrendsFlare automatically requests a new access token using your stored refresh token. This process happens in the background without any action required from you. If the refresh token itself expires (typically after 365 days), you will be prompted to reconnect the account.
8. Data Deletion
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control. To delete all data:
- Delete the data files from your installation folder
- Or remove individual accounts from within the dashboard interface
- To revoke TikTok's access entirely, visit TikTok → Settings → Security → Manage App Permissions and remove TrendsFlare
9. Children's Privacy
TrendsFlare is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you have concerns, please contact us at asikamazon1@gmail.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of TrendsFlare after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
